I am trying to colour a spotlight's glow cone via a projection map, but I am getting no results at all. As it's been ages since I used this feature, surely I must be missing some silly checkbox, but for the life of me I can't figure which one.
I have the glow working: enable glow on, some inner/outer radius values, set colours to white, and I can render a white cone of volumetric light. I add a map into the Projection map's list, and check the Enable Projection box on, but the light keeps on being white instead of tinted by the map. What am I missing?
Do Projection Maps work at colouring glow lights?

Thank you. There it is.
(surely it will be some absolutely obvious checkbox left unchecked and I'll end up looking like an idiot  :D )

In that tutorial project, if I set the "Enable Projection" checkbox on, I get the map projected on the floor, but the volumetric light keeps showing as a pure white glow.
So a bug it seems to be, then.
I'm running EIAS 8 on Mac, OS X 10.6.6. This is happening in both my Mac Pro 2006 and a 6-core Mac Pro 2010.
